Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa, stands at 4,167 meters above sea level and is known as the “Roof of North Africa.” This two-day hiking adventure is perfect for those aiming to conquer Jebel Toubkal and experience breathtaking mountain views.

DAY 1: Marrakech to Imlil – Sidi Chamarouch – Toukbal Refuge

• Transfer to Imlil: Our journey begins with a transfer to the small village of Imlil.
• Mizane Valley: We will descend through the picturesque Mizane Valley, passing through Aremd before reaching the mausoleum of Sidi Chamarouch.
• Mule Routes and Steep Cliffs: After crossing the river, we will follow mule tracks, ascending into the rocky cliffs of the valley.
• Arrival at Toukbal Refuge: The path gradually climbs toward the snowline, taking us to the Toukbal Refuge at 3,206 meters, where we will spend the night.
• Walking Time: 4 to 5 hours.

DAY 2: Jebel Toukbal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech

• Ascent to Jebel Toukbal: We begin early in the morning, heading up the south cirque and crossing a brook above the refuge. The climb is steady but challenging due to the scree and altitude.
• Summit Views: Upon reaching the summit of Jebel Toukbal, you will be rewarded with 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding regions, including the Marrakesh Plain, the High Atlas Mountains, the Anti-Atlas, and the Sahara in the distance.
• Descent: We will retrace our steps, descending back towards Imlil and making our way back to Marrakech.
